Elderly Transportable Housing

A group of people met on Saturdays to build the Elderly Transportable House.

Easter 2004 took on new meaning for our Trinity family as the ET House became the new home for Mary Ellen Perry at 1850 Phill Ford Road. Due to the untiring efforts of Bill Britton who almost single handedly completed the numerous final details, both large and small, the house was ready for occupancy on Saturday morning, April 10. Rev. Taylor, members of the ET Selection committee and several of their family members, as well as Mrs. Perry's son and two grandchildren, assisted Mrs. Perry in moving her possessions into her new home in a couple of hours. Peggy Cain and Lori Cahill thoughtfully beautified the exterior by planting crepe myrtles and hanging flower baskets on the porch! Before departing, we joined in prayer giving thanks to God for His many blessings. Mrs. Perry's sweet, patient demeanor coupled with a smile, hugs and "Thank You" made an especially tender Easter celebration of the power of our risen Lord in this world.
