Rhett Eckhardt is a 1998 graduate of Winthrop University with a degree in Mathematics and a minor in secondary education. He taught 7th-8th grade Math for two years. Following this he was the Data Coordinator for Institutional Research and Assessment at Winthrop University. During this time, he and his wife, Jen began volunteering with the youth at their church. After a few years he began feeling a call into full-time youth ministry. He became an Associate Minister of Students in Winston-Salem, NC, before heading to Trinity UMC in Darlington, SC. He completed his Masters of Christian Education from Pfeiffer University in 2009. Rhett arrived at Trinity UMC in Sumter in 2010.
