 Due to the success of this trip, we are planning on going again during spring break 2013. This will be open to active high school students. We are going to take a maximum of 24 youth on this trip.
Service
We will be serving at the Give Kids the World Village. This village is for children who are terminally ill and their family. They are able to stay there through a wish-making foundation. Each youth can expect to work at least one shift per day at GKTW. The work done ranges from working in the Gingerbread House (cafeteria), to the pool, being a part of the Christmas parade, scooping ice cream, working in the game room, or doing behind the scenes-type stuff.
Accomodations
We will once again stay at the Villas at 7 Dwarfs. They provide 3 and 4 bedroom condos as well as a pool, basketball, tennis, & beach volleyball courts, and a pool and fitness center. You can see more information on their website.
When: March 31-April 6, 2013
Cost: $310. This covers transportation, lodging, one day at Disney Hollywood Studios, a t-shirt and most food.
We will work at least one shift per day at GKTW.
